Maya is a 17-year-old Puggle — and the unofficial Head of Research and Development at MyPawsomePet. She is the reason this brand exists.
As Maya grew older, I found myself reaching for my phone more and more — scrolling through photos of her, looking for something I couldn't quite name. I had thousands of pictures. But none of them felt like enough. None of them were something I could carry with me every day in a way that felt intentional, personal, permanent.
I wanted something I could hold. Something I could wear. Something that said — this dog matters. This dog is mine. And I am not ready for the day I have to say goodbye to her.
That feeling is where MyPawsomePet began.
One dog.
Then many.
I made the first piece for myself. A keychain with Maya's portrait — engraved from one of my favorite photos of her, her name beneath it. I carried it daily. Not as a conversation starter. Just as a reminder.
Then friends started asking. Could you do one of my dog? My cat? My rabbit who passed last year?
